MEET OUR MAKERS
INGRID BROOKS
Ingrid was blessed with an idyllic childhood among the Pacific coastal redwoods. Her home was surrounded by her mama’s flowers and vegetable garden. Her greatest joy was hand-feeding the chickens next door and the cows in the neighboring pasture. Just beyond the backyard gate were woods and streams to explore, filled with wild flora and fauna waiting to be discovered.
She still finds delight in the treasures of the outdoors—observing the antics of animals, discovering new blossoms splashed with color, and capturing moments when sunlight plays with shadow. Through her paintings, she hopes to share her love of beauty, offer places of tranquility, and refresh the spirit with the joy of creation.
In addition to her original watercolor artwork, Ingrid accepts commissions for custom pet portraits. Working from your favorite photographs, she creates one-of-a-kind acrylic paintings that celebrate the personality and character of beloved pets. Whether you're looking for a meaningful gift or a lasting keepsake, a custom portrait offers a unique way to honor the animals that hold a special place in your life.
