BEHIND THE LENS
MEET KEVIN
I’m Kevin Hancock, a photographer, printmaker, and owner of Hancock Photography Print Studio in downtown Tillamook.
Photography has been a part of my life since 2012, when I first picked up a camera and quickly became drawn to the way photography can preserve fleeting moments and tell meaningful stories. Over the years, my work has taken many forms—from weddings, portraits, events, and concerts to time-lapse projects and commercial photography—but my greatest passion has always been photographing nature and wildlife.
Living on the Oregon Coast has deeply shaped my work. Much of my photography focuses on the landscapes, wildlife, and changing moods of this region—from dramatic storms rolling over Tillamook Bay to quiet moments with coastal wildlife in places like Cape Meares and Cape Kiwanda. My goal is to create images that help people feel connected to the natural world and appreciate the beauty that exists close to home.
That passion eventually grew into something bigger than photography alone. I opened Hancock Photography Print Studio as a space where art, education, and community come together. In addition to offering my own artwork, I provide professional photo printing, art digitization services, film negative scanning, and workshops that help others learn photography, printing, and creative skills. I also work with local artists by helping them reproduce and share their work through high-quality printing and gallery opportunities.
Whether you’re purchasing artwork, printing your own images, learning photography, or simply stopping by to explore local art, I’m grateful you’re here. My hope is that this space inspires creativity, encourages connection, and helps people see the natural beauty around them in a new way.
